Neurological Assessment
Neurological assessment is a medical procedure used to measure the functioning of a patient's nervous system. It helps to diagnose and treat conditions such as strokes, head trauma, dementia, multiple sclerosis, and other neurological diseases. Common tests used to assess neurological functioning include physical examination, mental status examinations, laboratory tests, imaging, and sometimes electrical stimulation. Neurological assessment is a key factor in determining how to provide the best care for a patient's condition, as well as the prognosis for their overall recovery.
