Interferon Beta
Interferon beta is a naturally occurring protein that is produced by the body to fight certain viral infections and some types of cancer. It has been used in the treatment of multiple sclerosis, hepatitis B and C, and certain types of skin cancer. It works by stimulating the immune system to recognize and attack virus-infected cells and cancer cells. It can also help reduce inflammation and slow the progression of some diseases. In addition, interferon beta may also be used to prevent some complications of common viruses. In recent years, interferon beta has also been used in the treatment of a number of autoimmune diseases, including psoriasis, rheumatoid arthritis, and Crohn's disease. Its versatility and effectiveness make it an important weapon in the fight against many diseases.
