Angina Chest Pain
Angina chest pain is a type of chest discomfort that occurs when the heart muscle does not get enough blood supply. This pain can range from mild and uncomfortable to severe and debilitating. It is a common symptom of coronary heart disease, which is caused by narrowed or blocked arteries that supply blood to the heart. Treatment of angina chest pain can include lifestyle changes, medications, and in some cases, surgery. Managing angina is important to reduce the risk of heart attacks, which can cause permanent damage to the heart muscle.
