Telemedicine and E-health
Telemedicine and e-health is the use of information and communication technologies to provide healthcare services remotely. These technologies allow healthcare providers to reach patients in remote locations, providing care anytime, anywhere. It is utilized for a range of medical services such as remote patient monitoring, medical consultations, preventive care, and follow-up care, as well as for delivering mental health services and social services. Telemedicine and e-health provide more convenient, affordable and accessible healthcare for patients, while allowing healthcare practitioners to improve patient outcomes, practice more efficiently and collaborate with colleagues.
