Screening Guidelines

for Asymptomatic Bacteriuria Screening Guidelines for Asymptomatic Bacteriuria are standards-of-care used for the detection and management of asymptomatic bacteriuria in individuals. Asymptomatic bacteriuria is the presence of bacteria in the urine of an individual who does not have any symptoms of a urinary tract infection. Screening Guidelines help to identify individuals who are at increased risk for developing symptomatic urinary tract infections, and provide recommendations for testing and treatment. This is important because urinary tract infections can cause serious health issues such as increased risk of kidney infection, and can lead to long-term medical problems. The implementation of Screening Guidelines for Asymptomatic Bacteriuria is important for the early detection and management of these infections, which can help prevent long-term health complications.
