Healthcare Systems and Policies
Healthcare systems and policies refer to the various structures and protocols that ensure the delivery of quality healthcare services. These systems and policies determine the availability, cost and quality of healthcare services, and are thus essential in providing good health to people. They determine how healthcare is funded, organized, delivered, and regulated both nationally and locally. Healthcare systems and policies also promote health equity and access to equitable healthcare services to all people, regardless of their economic, geographical, and social background. As such, governments and other organizations are responsible for formulating and implementing healthcare systems and policies to ensure that quality healthcare services are available to all.
