Lipoic Acids

Lipoic Acid is an organic compound, also known as Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) or Thioctic Acid, which is an important antioxidant and plays a key role in energy metabolism. It is found naturally in some foods and is also produced in the cells of the human body. As an antioxidant, Lipoic Acid helps to neutralize damaging free radicals, which can cause oxidative damage to cells. It also helps to maintain healthy levels of certain vitamins and minerals, such as Vitamin C and Vitamin E, as well as minerals such as zinc, copper, and iron. Additionally, Lipoic Acid has anti-inflammatory properties and has been used in the treatment of conditions such as diabetes, liver disease, and high blood pressure. By promoting energy production, Lipoic Acid can also help to improve overall health and wellbeing.
