Fatty Alcohols

Fatty alcohols are a type of long chain alcohols containing 12-20 carbon atoms. They are derived from natural fats and oils, making them an important component of the human diet. Fatty alcohols are known to possess a variety of health benefits, including improved cardiovascular health, reduction of cholesterol, and anti-inflammatory effects. They are also useful in a wide range of industrial applications, such as in the production of surfactants, lubricants, and cosmetics. Moreover, they are used as additives in food, pharmaceuticals, and other products. Fatty alcohols are one of the most important classes of organic compounds, and therefore play a key role in our daily lives.
