Endocannabinoids
Endocannabinoids are natural compounds found in the human body that play a role in regulating several physiological and cognitive processes. They interact with the same receptors as cannabinoids found in Cannabis sativa, and are involved in modulating mood, appetite, memory, pain, and inflammation. Endocannabinoids are naturally produced by the body and are key players in the complex network of the endocannabinoid system, which has been intensely studied and is recognized as a major component of human physiology. Endocannabinoids are now being used to treat various medical conditions, including chronic pain, inflammation, nausea, anxiety, and depression.
