Autoradiography

Autoradiography is a scientific technique used to visualise the levels of certain molecules or compounds in a sample. It is often used in the fields of biochemistry, genetics and medicine to study the structure and function of molecules. The technique uses radiation, often gamma rays, to expose the sample to radiation and generate an image that can be used to monitor and measure the presence of a chosen molecule. This image can be used to detect any changes in the levels of the molecule in a sample over time. Autoradiography helps scientists to identify the location and movement of molecules in a sample, which can provide insight into a range of scientific and medical applications, such as drug development, disease diagnosis and environmental research.
