Precipitation
Precipitation is the term for rain, snow, hail, and other forms of moisture that fall from clouds in the atmosphere. Precipitation is an important part of the global water cycle, as it is the main source of water to sustain life on Earth. Precipitation is also used to irrigate crops and provide enough water for drinking. Precipitation also helps to reduce soil erosion, regulate temperatures, and influence weather patterns around the world.
