Rinderpest

Rinderpest, also known as cattle plague, is a highly contagious and fatal viral disease that affects cattle, buffaloes, and other hoofed animals. It is a major cause of livestock loss in Africa and the Middle East, and has a global significance to the agricultural and food production industry. Rinderpest has been nearly eradicated worldwide, as a result of an international immunization campaign, and it is considered one of the greatest success stories of global disease control.
