Hydrocortisone
Hydrocortisone is a hormone and steroid produced by the adrenal glands. It is commonly prescribed for the treatment of inflammation and skin conditions such as rashes, eczema, and psoriasis. It has significant anti-inflammatory properties, making it an effective treatment for many skin conditions. In addition, hydrocortisone cream can be used to reduce itching and irritation due to insect bites, poison ivy, and other irritants. Hydrocortisone is also used in the treatment of arthritis and other joint pain, as well as asthma and allergies, in both adults and children.
