Hydrocele

Hydrocele is a medical condition where fluid accumulates in the sack that surrounds a testicle. It is often painless and can be caused by inflammation or injury. Hydrocele can be a sign of other, more serious conditions such as testicular cancer and is usually treated with surgery. Early diagnosis and treatment can help to reduce risks of complications and improve the prognosis. Hydroceles can also be congenital, present at birth, or acquired later in life.
