Hepatitis

Hepatitis is an inflammatory condition of the liver, most commonly caused by viral infection. Symptoms of hepatitis include fatigue, loss of appetite, jaundice, abdominal pain and dark-colored urine. In extreme cases, it can lead to liver failure, cirrhosis, and cancer. Hepatitis can be prevented through vaccination and safe sex practices. It is also important to practice good hygiene and avoid alcohol, recreational drugs, and certain medications. Treatment for hepatitis depends on the type and severity of the infection, and may include medications, lifestyle modifications, and treatments for any underlying conditions. Early diagnosis and treatment is key to managing the virus and preventing serious complications.
