Granulomas
Granulomas are a type of inflammatory lesion consisting of an accumulation of immune cells. These lesions can occur in various organs, including the lungs, brain, and lymph nodes. Granulomas can be caused by a variety of factors including infections, chemical irritants, and autoimmune disorders. Depending on the underlying cause, granulomas may resolve on their own or require treatment. Treatment may include medications such as antibiotics and corticosteroids, as well as surgical interventions. Granulomas are important to diagnose and treat as they can be associated with serious medical conditions and complications.
