Contact Dermatitis

Contact Dermatitis is a type of skin condition that occurs when the skin touches an irritant or an allergen. This reaction can result in red, itchy, and scaly rashes, blisters, or bumps. Contact Dermatitis can be caused by different things, such as jewelry, cosmetics, perfumes, soaps, metals, laundry detergents, and plants. If left untreated, this condition can cause skin infections and leave scars. Treatment of Contact Dermatitis involves avoiding contact with the irritation or allergen and applying topical steroids or creams. It is important to identify and address the underlying cause in order to prevent recurrences.
