Adiponectin
Adiponectin is a protein hormone secreted by fat cells that plays an important role in regulating metabolism and energy balance. It has been linked to a lower risk of obesity and related diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular disease and some types of cancers. Adiponectin has been studied for its potential therapeutic uses, including improving insulin sensitivity and increasing fat burning. Additionally, research suggests it may help reduce inflammation and may even have anti-aging effects. As a result, it has become an important target for drug development.
