Physiology Immunity to Infections

Physiology Immunity to Infections is a process through which the body's immune system defends against and eliminates potentially harmful agents, including bacteria, viruses, parasites, and other microorganisms. It is an important way for the body to protect itself from disease and infection. Physiology Immunity to Infections enables the body to recognize and fight off specific microbial invaders, as well as to respond to altered cells within the body. It is significant because it helps to maintain regular body functions and protect the body from illnesses and foreign organisms. Additionally, it also helps to heal wounds and provides an important defense against cancer.
