Aspergillosis

Aspergillosis is a type of fungal infection caused by members of the Aspergillus family. It can affect the lungs, sinuses, and other organs and is potentially life-threatening. Symptoms vary depending on the type and severity of the infection and may include a cough, fever, chest pain, and difficulty breathing. Treatment includes antifungal medications and, in severe cases, surgery. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for effective management of aspergillosis and improved outcomes.
