Engineering Chemistry

Engineering chemistry is the application of chemical knowledge to solving engineering challenges. This interdisciplinary field combines engineering principles, such as thermodynamics and heat transfer, with the principles of chemistry to create innovative solutions in the field of energy, materials, and environmental engineering. Engineering chemistry is used to develop more efficient processes, increase the efficiency of energy production, improve the quality of materials and reduce the environmental impacts of industrial activities. Engineering chemistry is integral to the understanding and development of advanced materials, energy sources and efficient production processes.
