Crude Petroleum
Crude petroleum is a naturally occurring, flammable liquid found in rock formations in the Earth's crust. It is a complex mixture of hydrocarbons, containing more than 200 compounds composed of hydrogen and carbon. It is a major source of energy, being used to power vehicles, generate electricity, and provide fuel for heating and cooking. Crude petroleum is refined to produce a variety of products including gasoline, diesel, heating oil, kerosene, and other petrochemicals. These products are used in many industries and households, making it an important resource for the world's economy.
