Biorefinery

A biorefinery is a facility that utilizes biomass sources (such as plants, agricultural waste, and other organic materials) to produce multiple products. Through the use of multiple processing pathways and technologies, biorefineries can produce a variety of valuable products such as biofuels, food ingredients, and chemicals. The process is also more sustainable than traditional methods, using fewer resources and creating fewer byproducts. By utilizing biorefineries, the use of traditional non-renewable resources can be reduced, helping to reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and overall environmental impact.
