Aromatic Hydrocarbons

Aromatic hydrocarbons are a group of organic compounds that are composed of carbon and hydrogen atoms. They are highly stable molecules that are characterized by their aromatic ring structure, giving them an intensely fragrant odor. These compounds are used in a variety of industrial applications, such as in the production of plastics, as fuel, and in the manufacture of pharmaceuticals. They also play a role in environmental processes, such as the production of smog and other pollutants. Aromatic hydrocarbons can be toxic to humans and cause various health issues, so their use must be carefully regulated to ensure safety.
