Salivagraphy

Salivagraphy is a scientific technique used to gain a better understanding of salivary gland diseases. It involves using x-rays to create an image of the salivary glands. This technique is used to diagnose salivary gland diseases, such as chronic sialadenitis and sialolithiasis, as well as benign or malignant salivary tumors. Salivagraphy can also help to identify possible causes of obstructive salivary gland dysfunction, such as salivary calculi or stones. By providing a detailed evaluation of the salivary glands and the surrounding structures, Salivagraphy can guide the treatment of various salivary gland disorders and provide the clinician valuable information to make the best possible treatment decisions.
