Ribs
Ribs are a series of curved bones in the torso that provide stability and protection for the internal organs. They are connected by cartilage and are attached to the spine. Ribs are the most commonly broken bones in the human body and are important for breathing, as well as for posture. They also serve as attachment sites for many muscles in the back, chest, and abdominal wall. Ribs are used to support the muscles when lifting weights or performing strenuous activities, and to protect the internal organs from trauma. Rib Fracture Repair is a specialized type of medical surgery used to repair and reinforce broken ribs, which is a common injury. Proper care and treatment of rib fractures is important to ensure a full recovery.
