Immunobiology
Immunobiology is the study of the body's immune system. It examines how the body defends itself against pathogens and how the immune system is affected by infectious agents and other environmental stimuli. This field is important to understand how the body protects itself from disease, how the immune system works, and how to develop treatments for diseases and conditions associated with a weakened or compromised immune system. Immunobiology is used in many areas of research and medicine, including the development of vaccines, the identification of potential biomarkers for disease, and the study of immune system malfunctions, such as autoimmune diseases.
