Genital Anatomy

Genital anatomy is the study of the structure and function of the external and internal reproductive organs of both male and female organisms. Its knowledge is essential for understanding and treating reproductive disorders and for maintaining reproductive health. It is also important for evaluating fertility and diagnosing and treating conditions related to sexual health, such as sexually transmitted diseases. Genital anatomy can also allow for better understanding of birth control technologies, sexual health and pleasure, and the healthy functioning of sexual organs.
