Cryptorchidism
Cryptorchidism is a medical condition in which one or both of the testicles are undescended or not in the usual position within the scrotum. It is most commonly seen in newborns and can cause infertility in adult men. Cryptorchidism can lead to abnormal growth of the testes and can increase the risk of testicular cancer. Treatment may involve surgery to relocate the testicle to the scrotum or hormone therapy. It can be managed very successfully with timely diagnosis and treatment.
