Castration

Castration is the surgical removal of the reproductive organs in an animal. It is mainly used for medical or behavioural reasons and is generally done as an outpatient procedure. Castration has several significant uses, including population control, management of medical conditions, and improved animal welfare. Castration also has been used in some livestock production methods to improve meat quality. Additionally, it has been used to reduce aggressive or sexual behaviour in some animals.
