Ankles
Ankles are a joint in the body which contain bones, ligaments, tendons, and muscles. They are found between the lower leg and the foot. They are essential for balance and weight bearing during movement, as they are the point where the lower leg meets the ground while standing and walking. Ankles also act as shock absorbers when we walk, jump, and run, helping to reduce the impact of each movement. Ankles can be easily injured due to their regular use and exposure to strain, making it important to do exercises to keep them fit and healthy.
