Ventricle

The ventricle is an important part of the human heart, located in the lower section of the organ. This chamber receives oxygenated blood from the atria, which is responsible for the pumping action. The ventricle contracts and pumps blood out of the heart, aiding in circulation and the transportation of oxygen and nutrients throughout the body. As such, the ventricle plays a vital role in the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system, helping to maintain good health and overall wellbeing. In cases where the ventricle becomes weak or is not working correctly, it can lead to a range of medical issues, including heart failure and arrhythmia. Treatment usually involves medication and/or surgical intervention.
