Heart Surgery
Heart surgery is the surgical procedure performed to restore the normal functioning operations of the heart, usually due to diseases or abnormal structures. It can be performed in the forms of open-heart surgery and minimally invasive heart surgery. Open-heart surgery is a procedure in which the chest is opened and the heart is repaired while minimally invasive heart surgery involves small incisions and uses endoscopic tools. Heart surgery can be used to improve the medical conditions of heart valve diseases, coronary artery or heart muscle diseases. It also provides a complete and immediate cure for life-threatening diseases such as aneurysm or arrhythmia. Heart surgery involves the use of sophisticated medical technologies and requires expertise from medical professionals to reduce the potential risks. It has been proven to be highly effective in restoring the normal functioning of the heart, further reducing the mortality and morbidity rates associated with heart-related diseases.
