Heart Rate Variability
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is a measure of the variations in the time between consecutive heartbeats. It is a non-invasive measure of cardiovascular health and can be used to assess an individual’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. HRV can be used as an important indicator for stress, fatigue, anxiety, and depression. It is also useful to monitor the body’s response to exercise or physical activity, or to monitor a medical condition. HRV is becoming increasingly important in medical and sports research, and its application in clinical care is growing in popularity. It can also be used to determine a person’s readiness to perform certain physical tasks or activities.
