Heart Diseases
Heart diseases are a range of conditions that affect the heart and the blood vessels. These include coronary heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, heart valve disease and congenital heart disease. Heart diseases are a major public health concern, as they are one of the leading causes of death and disability worldwide. Early diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases can significantly improve prognosis and reduce the risk of disability or death. Prevention of heart diseases through a healthy diet, exercise, and avoiding smoking and excessive alcohol consumption is also essential.
