Cardiovascular Disorders
Cardiovascular disorders are a group of disorders affecting the heart and/or blood vessels. These disorders can cause a range of symptoms, from mild chest pain to heart failure or stroke, and can be life-threatening. Their diagnosis and management are important for early detection, preventative treatments and long-term health. Common cardiovascular disorders include angina, heart attack, high blood pressure, heart failure, arrhythmias and stroke. There are many treatments and lifestyle changes that can help reduce the risk of developing cardiovascular diseases, such as exercise, a healthy diet and avoiding smoking. Early diagnosis and treatment can help prevent long-term damage to the cardiovascular system and help reduce disability and mortality associated with these disorders.
