Cardiac Diagnostic Test
A cardiac diagnostic test is a medical procedure used to diagnose heart conditions such as coronary artery disease, blockages, irregular heart rhythms and other cardiac abnormalities. The test typically involves an electrocardiogram (ECG) to measure electrical activity in the heart, an echocardiogram to measure blood flow through the heart, and imaging tests such as an X-ray or an MRI to visualise the structure and function of the heart. These tests help in the diagnosis and management of various cardiac diseases and are essential for ensuring a patient’s safety. Early detection and management of cardiac conditions can help reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke and other serious complications.
