Cardiac Computed Tomography
Cardiac Computed Tomography (CT) is a non-invasive imaging technique used to assess the structure and function of the heart. It uses X-rays to create detailed images of the heart, including of its pumping chambers, valves, and coronary arteries. CT can be used to diagnose heart-related problems such as coronary artery disease or abnormal heart rhythms, and it can even be used to plan surgeries. It is a safe, quick and accurate way to get detailed information about the heart, making it a valuable tool for preventative, diagnostic and interventional treatment of heart disease.
