Advanced Echocardiography
Advanced echocardiography is a highly specialized imaging modality used to visualize and assess the structure and function of the heart. It is a non-invasive and safe procedure that is used to diagnose heart disease, assess the effectiveness of treatments, and to monitor the progress of cardiac health. It uses sound waves (ultrasound) to create detailed images of the heart. Advanced echocardiography is a powerful tool that can detect the presence of abnormalities in the heart and provide valuable information to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. The accuracy of advanced echocardiography is such that it is now being used to assess not just the health of the heart, but also coronary blood flow, valve function, and mechanical and electrical performance. Its importance in diagnosing and managing heart disease is invaluable and it is becoming increasingly more common in the medical setting.
