Biostatistics
Biostatistics is the use of statistical methods to help understand and analyze biological data. It is a powerful tool for understanding the relationships between diseases and treatments, environment and health, and the spread of pandemics. Biostatistics helps us to better understand the causes of disease and how we can intervene to prevent it. By utilizing biostatistical techniques, public health and medical professionals are able to identify at-risk populations, evaluate the efficacy of treatments, and develop strategies to improve health outcomes. Biostatistics is also used to advance scientific knowledge in fields such as genetics and epidemiology, enabling researchers to collect, analyze, and interpret data to further their understanding of the human health.
