Visual Field
Testing Visual field testing is a series of tests used to assess the entire field of vision in both eyes. It is used to diagnose a range of eye conditions, most notably glaucoma, as well as other eye diseases such as retinal disease and neurological disease. Visual field testing can be used to determine the specific area of vision loss and its severity, helping to guide the treatment plans of ophthalmologists and optometrists. Because of its importance in detecting eye disease, visual field testing is an essential part of comprehensive eye care.
