Subretinal Fibrosis

Subretinal fibrosis is a medical disorder that occurs when abnormal scar-like tissues form on the surface of the retina. It can lead to significant vision loss and even blindness. Treatments for this condition may include medications to reduce inflammation, steroid injections, and/or surgically removing the scar-like tissues. Subretinal fibrosis can cause patients to suffer from decreased vision or even blindness. It is important for patients to seek medical attention if they experience any signs of this condition, as early treatment can often prevent long-term vision loss.
