Prevalence
Prevalence is a measure of the proportion of individuals in a population who have a certain attribute, such as disease, at a specific time. It is an important metric for epidemiologists and researchers to assess the impact of a particular condition in a given population and to compare the occurrence of the condition over time or between different populations. Prevalence is also an important tool for health planners and policy makers to measure the current burden of a condition in a population and to plan interventions that can reduce it.
