Photoscreener

A photoscreen is a device used in the assessment of vision in infants, children, and adults. It takes digital pictures of the eyes, enabling optometrists and ophthalmologists to diagnosis vision problems from afar. Photoscreeners can detect refractive errors, strabismus, and other vision conditions quickly and easily. They are also used in vision screening programs for school-aged children and adults, helping to identify those at risk for vision problems, so that they can receive prompt treatment and avoid long-term vision issues. Photoscreeners are essential tools in the prevention and treatment of vision problems and are essential for maintaining clear and healthy vision.
