Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery is a specialized branch of medicine that focuses on cosmetic, medical and surgical procedures related to the eye, its eyelids, tear ducts and the surrounding area of the face. It is used to correct or restore deformities or defects associated with the eyelids, eyes, and facial region, such as ptosis, entropion, ectropion, strabismus, orbital tumors, and facial nerve paralysis.
