Genetic Vector Therapy
Genetic Vector Therapy is a gene therapy technique employed to safely introduce genetic material into cells, which may have the potential to treat and even cure genetic disorders. The technique involves using a vector, such as a virus, to transfer genetic material between cells. This method has been used to successfully treat a wide range of disorders, including cystic fibrosis and haemophilia. The long-term potential of this technology is tremendous, as it may offer alternative treatments for many previously untreatable genetic disorders, with much fewer side effects than traditional treatments. In addition, advances in genetic vector therapy are creating new opportunities to use this technology to fight against cancer and other diseases.
