Eye Disorders
Eye Disorders refer to any abnormal condition of the eye that affects its functioning, vision, or physical structure. Common eye disorders can range from minor ailments such as conjunctivitis and computer vision syndrome, to more serious eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, and age-related macular degeneration. Early diagnosis is essential in preserving vision and treating eye conditions, therefore regular eye exams are recommended to help identify and treat any conditions before vision is permanently damaged. It is also important for people with a family history of eye diseases to get regular eye exams and to discuss with their doctor any potential risk factors.
