Blurred Vision
Blurred vision is a more general term for impaired vision caused by a physical refraction error in the eye, such as near- or far-sightedness, or due to a decrease in sharpness of the eye's ability to focus. It can occur in one or both eyes, and can be caused by a variety of eye conditions, diseases and disorders. Blurred vision can not only impede one's quality of life, but can also be an indicator of a more serious health issue. Early diagnosis and treatment are important for preserving vision and general wellbeing. Treatment can include corrective lenses, surgery, or medications, depending on the underlying cause.
