Aneurysm
An aneurysm is a weakened or bulged section of the wall of a blood vessel. It is an important medical condition as, when left untreated, an aneurysm can cause life-threatening blood loss if it ruptures. Aneurysms can occur anywhere in the body where there is a blood vessel, and are most commonly found in the aorta, brain, and intestines. Treatment for an aneurysm typically involves surgery or endovascular embolization, depending on the specific circumstances. Early diagnosis and treatment are important to reduce the risk of rupture and the life-threatening complications associated with it.
