Neuroethology
Neuroethology is a field of scientific research that studies the neural basis of behavior in animals. It is primarily concerned with exploring the neural mechanisms underlying animal behavior and how these behaviors have evolved over time. Neuroethology has contributed a great deal to our understanding of how the brain influences behavior and how behavior influences the rest of the body, as well as its functions in animal communication, learning, and navigation. Neuroethology has also helped us to identify and better understand the neural basis of psychiatric disorders in humans. The knowledge and techniques developed through neuroethology have been applied to areas such as robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-computer interface design.
